Job description

The WebKit Developer Productivity team is seeking an engineer to enhance tools and services that improve the efficiency of WebKit contributors. This role involves owning and refining workflows that are essential for hundreds of engineers, including command-line tools and continuous integration pipelines. The focus will be on integrating various systems and automating processes to streamline development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Experience with Python
  • Familiarity with Unix-based systems and shell scripting
  • Experience with Git and GitHub workflows
  • Experience with continuous integration systems such as Buildbot, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of C++, Objective-C, or Swift
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS S3 or EC2
  • Experience working with and contributing to large-scale open source software projects
  • Familiarity with build systems such as Xcode, CMake, or Make
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
