Job description
This role is part of a premier design team at Apple responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and integration of the baseband system for all Apple products. The position requires strong electrical engineering fundamentals and experience in digital design. The candidate will collaborate with various engineering groups and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product landscape. This diverse role focuses on the digital and power management domain of wireless chipsets from concept to product announcement.
Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
- Experience with schematic capture, layout design, and review
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with mobile platform system design and high-volume consumer electronics design
- Experience with voltage regulators, LDO, and switch mode power supplies
- Experience with high-speed and low-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, SPMI, I2C, and UART
- Bench-level design verification experience with high-speed oscilloscopes
- Signal and power integrity simulation experience with tools like Matlab, PowerSI, SIwave, and HFSS
Responsibilities
