Job description

The CPU Clock Implementation Engineer role at Apple involves driving the planning, design, implementation, and analysis of clock systems within the Silicon Engineering Group. This position requires a strong background in physical design and analysis, particularly in large processor and SoC designs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in scripting and automation to enhance efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of clock cell designs in high-speed CPU architectures.

Requirements

  • Minimum BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Programming and scripting experience in Perl and TCL
  • Experience in physical design, analysis, and verification of large processor and/or SoC designs
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices in physical design, analysis, and physical verification
  • Solid understanding of low power design, physical construction, and Spice
  • Proven understanding of CMOS circuit design
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and be self-motivated
