The role involves managing the mechanical assembly of the Apple Vision Pro, a revolutionary spatial computer. You will work closely with various teams throughout the product development life-cycle, from initial architecture to mass production. Requirements
- Previous experience in program management and mechanical/electrical engineering delivering products comprised of multiple materials.
- Experience leading product development in highly dynamic and ambiguous work environments.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
- Ability to anticipate functional direction and roadblocks.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- BSME/SE/EE degree or equivalent; MS degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive the program through the entire development process.
- Create and maintain streamlined schedules.
- Manage manufacturing and assembly upstream and at the contract manufacturer.
- Present multiple levels of status updates to organizational leaders and executives.
- Engage with manufacturers on DFM, FAI/CPK, QC, and production timelines.
- Establish a daily build plan and provide clear direction to meet program objectives.
