The Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure Engineer at Google Cloud will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform services. This role involves proposing solution architectures, managing cloud networking solutions, and ensuring best practices for secure cloud implementations. The engineer will work closely with customers to design and implement cloud-based technical architectures that meet business objectives. Additionally, collaboration with internal teams will be essential to package best practices and methodologies for successful client outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in networking, compute infrastructure, and architecting cloud solutions.
- 6 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
- Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages including Python, Java, Go, C or C++.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud networking solutions according to customer requirements.
- Work with customers to design and implement cloud-based technical architectures and migration approaches.
- Collaborate with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to develop best practices and methodologies.
- Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope and deliverables.
