The Software Engineer III role at Google Beam focuses on developing real-time Machine Learning-based 3D human capture and rendering technologies for immersive communication experiences. As part of the Beam Software Platform Infrastructure team, you will contribute to building scalable software frameworks and automated testing infrastructures. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Responsibilities
- Focus on real-time Machine Learning-based 3D human capture and rendering for live 3D experiences without headsets.
- Provide a scalable Software regression framework used by the Beam Software developer community for the roll-out of commercial products.
- Act as a member of the team that builds an automated Software Release test infrastructure for Software testing in Beam devices.
- Work on a Hardware-in-the-Loop Test framework integrated into the Beam Software stack and Hardware platforms.
- Help land HILT testing initiatives with tie-ins to the Software Release process for innovative future teleportation platforms.
