The engineer will engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, addressing their unique mission requirements. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing experience to drive business growth and optimize cloud effectiveness.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms in the federal government.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders in the Federal government space.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Build partner specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and drive partner business.
- Own the technical relationship with partners, supporting them through the pilot or proof of concept phases.
- Provide best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure.
- Assist in the migration phase to ensure partners have the necessary tools for successful deployment.
