Job description

The role is focused on enabling engineering teams to deliver exceptional software experiences by coordinating complex build systems and ensuring seamless code integration across Apple's ecosystem. As part of the Train Management & Integration team, you will serve as a central coordination hub for build management and submission integration. The position requires strong technical fundamentals and exceptional organizational skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly impact the software that powers Apple's innovative products.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Project or Program Manager
  • Build and Release Engineering/Release Management experience is highly desirable
  • Project management experience in the software development life cycle is highly desirable
  • Unix programming/scripting experience is highly desirable
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Proven track record of defining processes and executing on them

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central coordination hub for train bring-up processes, build management, and submission integration across Apple's diverse project portfolio.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure smooth code integration and coordinate complex build schedules.
  • Provide expert guidance on build processes and manage critical activities while maintaining clear communication channels.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build reliability and developer experience.
