Job description
The Apple Services Engineering team is seeking a proven software engineer to build and enhance internal quality evaluation tools. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement features from start to finish, driving decision-making through data. The team values privacy and aims to deliver secure solutions that impact a wide array of services central to Apple's business. Candidates will work closely with users to iterate on functionality and improve features for Apple customers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, and performant code
- Excellent debugging, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic front-end development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Stimulus JS
- Comfortable working with and writing SQL
- Comfortable writing tests for your code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of large-scale applications
- Proficiency in big data, both structured and unstructured
- Comfortable making product and UX/UI decisions
