Job description

As a prototyping engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in emulating complex SOCs and ensuring high-quality functional products reach millions of customers. Requirements

  • Understanding of CPU and SOC architecture/design fundamentals
  • Strengths in digital logic design, Verilog, SystemVerilog, test-benches, simulation, and debug
  • Experience in scripting/programming is desired, including Unix, Python, and C/C++
  • Experience with FPGA is a plus
  • Hardware/System design, tools, debug, and lab experience are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Review specifications and develop prototyping plans and specifications
  • Work closely with design and micro-architecture teams to understand functional and performance goals
  • Work on Synthesis, Place and Route, and timing optimization while developing plans for custom hardware
  • Work independently and manage deliverables to align with project goals
  • Support cross-functional engineering efforts
