The Apple Media Tech (AMT) group is seeking an enthusiastic power and performance engineer to join their Audio team. This role focuses on supporting audio engineering and quality teams across various platforms including iOS, watchOS, tvOS, macOS, and visionOS. The engineer will work hands-on with prototype hardware and development boards, ensuring power and performance quality while shipping exciting features. Ideal candidates will have a passion for audio technologies and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong coding skills in C/C++, Objective C/Swift, and Python
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Knowledge and experience with common performance benchmarks and workloads
• Experience with system power, performance, and memory assessment tools
• Familiarity with Instruments in Xcode
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• Support audio engineering and quality teams within the Audio & Media Technologies group
• Help ship exciting audio features while ensuring power and performance quality
• Use internal tools to measure power and performance metrics
• Interact regularly with prototype hardware and development boards
