Job description

Join Apple's Wireless Connectivity team as a Wireless Design Verification Engineer, where you will develop advanced WiFi SoCs that power millions of Apple products globally. You will play a crucial role in ensuring silicon success through sophisticated testbenches and comprehensive verification methodologies. This position involves bridging domains and driving collaborations to create verification solutions for wireless technology. Your work will enable multi-gigabit wireless features across Apple's product ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with ASIC verification or complex digital IP development.
  • Experience developing testbench environments, components, and scenarios.
  • Understanding of constrained random testing and functional coverage analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to engineering challenges.
  • Experience with bus functional models and transaction-modeling.
  • Exposure to system-level modeling or DPI-based verification approaches.
  • Proficiency with Python, Perl, or Bash scripting for automation.
  • Experience with Power-Aware and UPF simulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure first-time-right silicon success through sophisticated testbenches.
  • Develop verification strategies for wireless features enabling advanced applications.
  • Take on verification of controllers, datapaths, subsystems, and protocols.
  • Leverage and develop environments, create scenarios, and analyze metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
