Job description

Apple's RF System Engineering team is looking for an expert to define the next generation of Cellular RF Receiver architectures. This role involves architecting and delivering innovative wireless solutions for future Apple products, focusing on 5G and paving the way to 6G. The successful candidate will work closely with RF circuit design, platform architecture, and software engineering teams to ensure high performance and quality. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.
  • 5 years of experience in Radio Receiver design is preferred.
  • Demonstrated System Engineering experience in designing complex communication RF systems.
  • Deep understanding of cellular system use cases and coexistence challenges.
  • Experience in clock/frequency planning.
  • Good understanding of baseband related algorithms.
  • Familiarity with RFIC design and semiconductor processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of RF receiver architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative concepts.
  • Develop core technologies for outstanding wireless experiences.
  • Influence and drive innovation across the organization.
  • Conduct RF system modeling and simulations using MATLAB and Python.
  • Perform lab bring-up, system calibration, and debugging of RF systems.
