As a member of the Sensing Systems team, you will design and develop the next generation of Touch ID sensors, which are essential for the security and user experience of Apple's products. This role involves overseeing the entire sensor development lifecycle, from design to integration. You will leverage your expertise in circuit design and electrical analysis to drive innovation in biometric sensing technology. Collaboration and communication will be key as you work with various teams to bring these devices to life.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in analog fundamentals with experience in circuit design and development.
- Proven track record of taking electrical designs into mass production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in design, characterization, and validation of sensing systems.
- Proficiency with test equipment and circuit simulation tools.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Touch ID sensors throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Conduct schematic capture and module design for sensor systems.
- Validate and integrate sensors across the supply chain.
- Define technical strategies and drive innovation in fingerprint biometric sensors.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
