Job description
The iPhone Hardware Engineering Program Manager (EPM) will lead multi-functional development teams focused on hardware sub-systems such as flexible printed circuit boards and development boards. This role requires collaboration with skilled Electrical and Mechanical engineers to identify and communicate project risks and issues. The EPM will manage engineering development schedules and budgets while ensuring alignment with Apple's product development process. The position demands strong organizational and technical skills to drive innovation in portable consumer products.
Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Project management experience is necessary.
- Relevant industry experience is essential.
- Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across multiple timezones is required.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally is necessary.
- Strong technical background in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities
- Lead multi-functional development teams for various system hardware sub-systems.
- Manage and track engineering development schedules and budgets.
- Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks.
- Drive deliveries and issues with global suppliers and integrate their work into the project.
- Communicate project status and the big picture to the project team and management.
- Synchronize the project with the Apple development process.
