The SOC Performance Modeling SW Engineer will be part of the system-on-chip performance team within Apple's Hardware Technologies organization. This role focuses on shaping the architecture of future Apple devices by collaborating with various engineering teams. The primary goal is to ensure high-quality performance models that drive world-class hardware designs. The engineer will work on the full life-cycle of performance modeling, from architectural exploration to post-silicon correlation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware architecture and design issues.
• Experience coding in C++ and Python.
• Experience with computer architecture and software engineering principles.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with multi-paradigm software development in C++.
• Experience with multi-language programming environments.
• Experience with compiler explorer and understanding compiler transformations.
• Experience with architectural and micro-architectural performance modeling.

• Ensure Apple's ability to produce high-quality, timely data for hardware designs.
