The Operations Reliability Engineer role at Apple focuses on ensuring the reliability of new technology components and products. • 7+ years of experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress tests, Environmental & Fatigue testing, and experience in Failure Analysis techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar.
• Master's or PhD in Engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar.
• Strong understanding of the physics behind material properties and ability to derive root causes of failure.
• Knowledge of reliability models, accelerated test models, and industry test standards.
• Deep understanding of Design of Experiments and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
• Strong statistical and data analytics skills including statistical process control.
• Extraordinary problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
