We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the development of Apple's next-generation Generative AI platform. This role involves deep systems thinking and scalable backend development, focusing on cutting-edge GenAI technologies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across teams to design and implement large-scale, secure, and highly available systems. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in building production-grade GenAI infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of software engineering experience in Java or Python
• Experience in building, maintaining, or enhancing RESTful web services using cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Extensive understanding and experience with Agentic workflows, LLMs, RAG, and protocols like MCP and A2A
• Experience with implementation of complex agentic systems using LangGraph, ADK, Claude Code, or similar frameworks
• Strong experience working with Gen AI based systems, Agentic frameworks, and RAG
• Deep understanding of REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs, authentication methods, and distributed systems
• Strong grasp of software design principles and testing frameworks
• Knowledge of security practices related to prompt injection and secure context handling
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
