Job description
In this role as a CPU Top-Level Design Verification Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial part in the chip design effort, focusing on the verification methodology and tools for a high-performance, low-power processor design. You will collaborate with verification engineers and RTL designers to ensure high-quality products reach millions of customers quickly. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience is required.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, including processor design and memory systems.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and experience with advanced features like interfaces and assertions.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in C, C++, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with verification engineers and RTL designers to define effective verification methodologies.
- Develop test plans, test benches, and test environments for low power complex processor designs.
- Drive and develop tools and flows for advanced verification methodologies.
- Develop coverage monitors and analyze coverage to ensure all test cases are covered.
- Maintain efficient testbench environments and automate testing flows.
