Job description
The Cellular RF Hardware Design Engineer will be part of Apple's RF Hardware Design team, focusing on designing, developing, and optimizing radio frequency hardware circuits and systems for wireless communications devices. This role involves working from the initial concept study through to mass production, ensuring that innovative RF performance is achieved. The engineer will tackle unique challenges and contribute to groundbreaking products that enhance customer experiences. Some travel may be required for this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience are required.
- Experience with radio hardware design and/or RF component design is necessary.
- Familiarity with the challenges of development for high-volume manufacturing is essential.
- Hands-on experience with RF circuits and hardware on the lab bench is required.
- Understanding of core technologies and physics that drive innovative RF performance is needed.
- Proficiency in wireless communications standards and market trends is important.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Experience with RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, and Matlab is necessary.
- Experience with Python for test setup automation and data analysis is required.
Responsibilities

- Lead the development and integration of cellular radio platforms.
- Participate in all phases from initial concept study to mass production.
