Job description
The Wireless SoC Radio Team focuses on designing highly energy-efficient CMOS radios, covering a range of RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks. As an RFIC Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching and designing next-generation wireless technologies for high-volume production. The position requires expertise in custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers and a solid understanding of advanced CMOS technology nodes. You will work closely with a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of wireless communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with FinFet technology.
- Extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS.
- Proficiency in layout techniques for device matching and minimizing parasitics.
- Solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and coupling.
- Familiarity with guard rings, DNW, PN junctions, and advanced process effects.
- High proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS in FinFet technology.
- Knowledge of CADENCE layout tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Scripting skills in PERL or SKILL.
Responsibilities
- Research and design RFIC layouts for next-generation wireless technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to bring designs into high-volume production.
- Ensure layout techniques minimize parasitics and provide RF shielding.
- Interpret and apply CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS results effectively.
- Utilize CADENCE layout tools for design implementation.
