Job description

The Wireless SoC Radio Team focuses on designing highly energy-efficient CMOS radios, covering a range of RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks. As an RFIC Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching and designing next-generation wireless technologies for high-volume production. The team is dedicated to advancing the capabilities of wireless communication through innovative design and technology. Your expertise will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art radio transceivers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience with FinFet technology.
  • Extensive knowledge of custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers.
  • Familiarity with layout techniques for device matching and minimizing parasitics.
  • Solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and coupling.
  • Knowledge of guard rings, DNW, PN junctions, and advanced process effects.
  • High proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFet technology.
  • Experience with CADENCE layout tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Scripting skills in PERL or SKILL.

Responsibilities

  • Research and design RFIC layouts for next-generation wireless technologies.
  • Collaborate with the RFIC team to bring designs into high-volume production.
  • Ensure layout techniques minimize parasitics and enhance device matching.
  • Interpret and apply DRC, ERC, and LVS checks in FinFet technology.
  • Utilize CADENCE layout tools for effective design implementation.
