Job description
As an RFIC Design Engineer within the Wireless Radio team at Apple, you will be integral to the design and validation of radio transceivers integrated into wireless SoCs. This role involves collaborating with various product development groups to innovate and enhance wireless connectivity solutions. You will leverage your expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design to push the boundaries of wireless technology. Your contributions will impact millions of products worldwide, ensuring superior performance and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of analog design concepts such as noise analysis, linearity, mismatch, stability, and other analog impairments.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, Matlab, EM simulation tools like EMX and HFSS.
- Expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design, including LNAs, PAs, PLL/VCO/DCO/LOGEN blocks, mixers, and data converters.
- Experience in silicon characterization and debugging.
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with various RF transceiver architectures and their trade-offs.

- Work with digital design groups to optimize the partition between digital and analog domains.
