Job description
This position is for a Design Verification Engineer within Apple's Silicon Engineering Group, focusing on the verification of sophisticated System on Chips (SoCs) for the Cellular 5G platform. The role involves integrating multiple IP-level design verification environments and developing reusable testbenches. The engineer will collaborate with various product development teams to enhance the quality and readiness of SoCs. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented programming principles in languages such as Python, C++, Java, or SystemVerilog.
- Coursework in Digital Design is necessary.
- MSEE, MSCS or higher is preferred.
- Coursework in Computer Architecture and Networking Protocol is needed.
- Hands-on experience developing UVM-based testbenches in SystemVerilog is required.
- Experience in Digital Design is essential.
- Experience in developing Reference Model of DUT and verification using HVL is necessary.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the verification effort for sophisticated SoCs within the silicon design group.
- Integrate multiple sophisticated IP-level design verification environments.
- Craft highly reusable UVM testbenches.
- Implement effective coverage-driven and advised test infrastructure.
- Deploy new tools and develop AIML methodology.
- Collaborate with product development groups to push the boundaries of SoC capabilities.
- Improve the quality of tape-out readiness for all chips.
