Job description
The Wireless SoC Radio Team focuses on designing highly energy-efficient CMOS radios, covering a range of RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks. As an RFIC Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching and designing next-generation wireless technologies for high-volume production. The position requires extensive experience in custom RF/analog layout and a solid understanding of advanced CMOS technology nodes. You will work closely with a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of wireless communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with FinFet technology.
- Extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS.
- Proficiency in CADENCE layout tools.
- Strong scripting skills in PERL or SKILL.
Responsibilities
- Research and design RFIC layouts for radio transceivers.
- Ensure device matching and minimize parasitics in layouts.
- Implement RF shielding and high-frequency routing techniques.
- Interpret CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFet technology.
- Collaborate with team members to bring wireless technologies into production.
