Job description
The Wireless SoC Radio Team is focused on designing highly energy efficient CMOS radios, encompassing a range of RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks. As an RFIC Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching and designing next-generation wireless technologies for high-volume production. The position requires expertise in custom RF/analog layout and a deep understanding of advanced CMOS technology nodes. You will work closely with a team dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art wireless solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with FinFet technology.
- Extensive knowledge of custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers.
- Familiarity with layout techniques for device matching and minimizing parasitics.
- Solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and coupling.
- Knowledge of guard rings, DNW, PN junctions, and advanced process effects.
- High proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS in FinFet Technology.
- Proficiency in CADENCE layout tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Scripting skills in PERL or SKILL.
Responsibilities
- Research and design RFIC layouts for next-generation wireless technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality production of CMOS radios.
- Implement layout techniques to optimize device performance and minimize parasitics.
- Interpret and analyze DRC, ERC, and LVS results to ensure design integrity.
- Utilize CADENCE tools for effective layout design and verification.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project progress.
