Job description

The role is for an electrical engineer on the Touch ID team, focusing on designing sensor modules that enhance security and user experience. The engineer will take ownership of designs, propose circuit solutions, and influence system-level architecture. This position requires strong analog fundamentals and the ability to evaluate design tradeoffs. The engineer will work closely with experienced colleagues and have opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

  • Solid analog circuit design fundamentals with hands-on design experience
  • Experience with circuit simulation (SPICE) and lab bring-up/debug
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, or similar)
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience with sensing systems (capacitive, optical, MEMS, or similar)
  • Familiarity with PCB or flex circuit design
  • Exposure to full product development lifecycle, from concept to production
  • Ability to independently evaluate design tradeoffs and propose solutions
  • Experience presenting technical recommendations to cross-functional audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with signal integrity or power integrity concepts
