In this role, you will be part of a team that develops System on Chips (SOCs) for Apple devices, focusing on high-speed serial interface signal integrity and power integrity. You will work on the electrical and physical design aspects from silicon to package to board. The position requires collaboration with circuit design teams and vendors to optimize system design and validate performance. Your expertise will help improve product yield through debugging and testing.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
- PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
- BS and 5+ years or MS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity with signal and power integrity issues of high-speed serial interfaces.
- Experience with product package/board design and analysis.
- Strong fundamentals in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work on the electrical and physical design of high-speed serial interface systems.
- Conduct electrical extraction and validation of package and PCB.
- Collaborate with circuit design teams and vendors to optimize SI and PI modeling.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity.
- Work with product engineering and system engineering to debug and improve product yield.
