Job description
The iCloud Platform team at Apple is seeking a passionate engineer to join the Game services team, which focuses on enhancing the gaming experience through features like Leaderboards and Multiplayer. This role involves working on a large-scale distributed cloud gaming platform, contributing to the Apple Games app and Arcade. The team is dedicated to maintaining strong privacy guarantees while delivering engaging experiences for players. You will collaborate with world-class teams to redefine gaming and make it easier for developers to create great games.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing and operating production services in Java
- Strong design skills and familiarity with algorithms and data structures
- Experience with Distributed Systems or Database Internals
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree
- Experience with client-server application development
- Game development experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or FoundationDB
