JobsCAD Engineer - Signoff Infrastructure
Job description
We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join our team and enhance the Signoff infrastructure across Apple SOC design groups. This role focuses on developing full-stack web applications that support the critical final verification stage in chip design. The engineer will work on building dashboards, collecting CAD flow metrics, and creating data visualization tools. Additionally, the role involves integrating AI capabilities into our platform to improve the Signoff process.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with web development frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, or Express.js
- SQL database experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Background in Chip Design, Chip Verification, or CAD
- Experience with embedding models and LLM integration patterns
- Understanding of RAG pipelines, including embeddings, chunking, and retrieval optimization
- Experience with vector databases
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Test-driven development experience in production environments
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and enhance Signoff dashboards and CAD flow metrics collection tools.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for web applications.
- Develop interactive frontend dashboards for design and CAD teams.
- Interface with design and CAD teams to improve the Signoff process.
- Contribute to integrating RAG and AI-powered features into the platform.
