Job description

We are looking for a CAD Engineer to develop full-stack web applications that enhance the Signoff infrastructure for Apple SOC design groups. This role involves building and improving dashboards, collecting CAD flow metrics, and creating data visualization tools. The engineer will also contribute to the development of a Signoff AI assistant and integrate AI capabilities into the platform. The position requires collaboration with design and CAD teams to improve the Signoff process through high-impact web applications.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Coursework or projects using web development frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, or Express.js
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Interest in chip design, VLSI, or CAD tools
  • Interest in AI/ML technologies
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and enhance Signoff dashboards and CAD flow metrics collection tools.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs for web applications.
  • Develop interactive frontend dashboards for design and CAD teams.
  • Interface with design and CAD teams to improve the Signoff process.
  • Participate in the development of the Signoff AI assistant.
