Job description

The GPU Physical Verification engineer will be part of the Silicon Technologies group, focusing on designing and manufacturing high-performance, power-efficient GPUs. This role combines strategic engineering with hands-on technical work, ensuring the physical design verification closure from early planning to tapeout. The engineer will collaborate closely with the Physical Design team to drive methodologies and streamline processes. The position requires effective communication with cross-functional teams to achieve back-end design goals.

Requirements

  • BS degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with hierarchical design approach and top-down design.
  • Familiarity with Physical Verification checks including DRC, ERC, LVS, and ESD.
  • Experience with P&R flows and Physical Verification tools like Calibre.
  • Understanding of GPU architecture and design units.

Responsibilities

  • Drive physical verification aspects in the design cycle.
  • Manage and resolve design and flow issues related to physical design.
  • Identify potential solutions and drive execution for physical verification.
  • Communicate and drive the needs of Physical Design Verification with cross-functional teams.
  • Offer physical verification support and track progress in design execution.
