The Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer will join the Creativity Apps team at Apple, focusing on developing innovative creative editing tools. This role involves working with a talented group of creatives, designers, and engineers to push the boundaries of Generative AI. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in computational photography and multi-modal image editing to deliver impactful products. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to highly visible projects that enhance customer experiences.

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field.
• 5+ years of significant industry experience delivering products using computational photography and machine learning technologies.
• Extensive knowledge in machine learning and deep learning techniques, particularly diffusion models, variational auto-encoders, and transformers.
• Strong programming skills in high-level languages like Python and experience with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Experience delivering customer-facing products with computer vision, computational photography, or generative AI features.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate in the creative space.
• Build, train, evaluate, and deploy models based on diffusion, transformers, and Generative Adversarial Networks.
• Contribute to large codebases while ensuring high-quality software delivery at scale.
