Job description
As a Display Electrical Design Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced mobile display modules that deliver exceptional performance and reliability. You will drive projects from concept through to volume manufacturing, collaborating with both internal and external teams to create innovative solutions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in module or system design and architecture focused on defining detailed electrical specifications.
- Proficiency in PCB design including component selection, schematic capture, and layout.
- Experience using circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary hardware designs.
- Proficiency in coding or scripting with Python, Matlab, or similar tools.
- Experience in power management, analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Experience in display technology such as LCD, OLED, DLP, or e-paper.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Drive display module electrical design requirements for new product introduction.
- Contribute to the overall module architecture including custom silicon requirements.
- Define validation plans and manage vendors to ensure high-quality product production.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design new products using state-of-the-art display technology.
- Lead projects from concept phase through engineering builds and into volume manufacturing.
