Job description

The Siri Software Group is seeking a motivated Systems Software Engineer to enhance Siri experiences using Apple Intelligence. This role involves designing, building, and integrating the next generation of Siri, focusing on low-latency interactions and exceptional battery life. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage advancements in Large Language Models and optimize performance. A passion for problem-solving and high-quality software development is essential.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in C++, Swift, or ObjectiveC.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Experience with Swift, C++, or ObjectiveC for building production quality software.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing algorithms for resource-constrained platforms.
  • Experience with API design or framework development.
  • Experience with systems and kernel programming.
  • Exposure to debugging, memory profiling, and performance optimization tools.
  • Masters or PhD degree is preferred.
