The role involves joining the Final Cut Camera engineering team to enhance video capture capabilities on iPhone. The focus is on enabling users to create studio-quality content while ensuring accessibility for all skill levels. The candidate will work on integrating the latest camera features and making media readily available for editing in Final Cut Pro. This position requires a blend of software engineering skills and a passion for video and media content production.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience developing applications in Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Strong knowledge of Apple’s development tools and frameworks, including SwiftUI, UIKit, and AVFoundation.
- Demonstrated experience building user-facing applications on iOS, iPadOS, and/or macOS with products shipped/shipping in the AppStore.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with content creation and media editing applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features that enable the capture of studio quality content.
- Create pathways to make media quickly and seamlessly available for editing in Final Cut Pro.
- Leverage the latest camera features in iPhone and other Apple devices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to enhance video capture capabilities.
- Provide examples of application and/or libraries development for iOS and/or macOS.
