The Siri's Runtime Platform team is seeking a resourceful software engineer to develop the next generation of natural interaction platforms for Apple's devices. This role focuses on advancing the distributed system logic that allows Siri to respond seamlessly to user requests across complex environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using new technologies to enhance intelligent assistants and will be responsible for creating sophisticated simulation environments and evaluation datasets. Collaboration with cross-functional partners is essential to identify and resolve dependencies effectively.

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong expertise in Swift or Objective-C or C++ programming language
• Solid experience in software development with contributions to code, code reviews, and design reviews
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals with expertise in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design
• Experience working with large-scale data evaluation or simulation frameworks
• 5+ years of experience
• Expertise in design patterns
• Experience contributing to shipping platforms or products to production and supporting them post-launch
• Experience driving technical decision-making and software development from product definition to ship for multiple products
• Familiarity with data modeling and algorithmic policy design
