Job description
The Mac System Architecture team is looking for a Display systems or technology architect to lead and influence new product designs. This role involves creating system architectures and collaborating with various engineering teams to meet product performance, size, power, thermal, and cost goals. The ideal candidate will provide architectural guidance, negotiate product goals, and mentor junior engineers. The position may require occasional travel for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

- Strong skills in system architecture creation and design
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience in negotiating product goals and requirements
- Familiarity with thermal management solutions and trade-offs
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural guidance and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams
- Negotiate top level product goals among architects and system engineers
- Determine product system integration feasibility through collaboration
- Author system architecture specifications and conduct reviews
- Collaborate with performance architects to drive improvements
- Analyze and support thermal management solutions
- Anticipate future SoC requirements and negotiate with internal teams
- Explore and champion new product-level features and workflows
- Mentor junior engineers to best practices and data-driven processes
