• M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in applied machine learning and/or product development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ with experience in machine learning modeling.
• Fundamental knowledge of machine learning concepts and hands-on experience in building deep-learning systems.
• Proficiency in using ML toolkits such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SkLearn.

• Design and implement machine learning algorithms that process data in Apple products.
• Train Generative AI models and Agentic systems using deep reinforcement learning.
• Integrate machine learning and reinforcement learning frameworks into products.
• Communicate advanced ideas to a focused team of researchers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production code with appropriate documentation and tests.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, and peer code reviews.
