The role involves joining the Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) team at Apple, focusing on the calibration and validation of display technologies. The team is responsible for developing methodologies and measurement solutions for various consumer electronics. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant industry experience in display technologies
- Knowledge of display and optical technology fundamentals
- Background in display, optical design, and optical-sensing technologies
- Understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis, design, process, and test FMEA
- High volume consumer electronics calibration, testing, and manufacturing experience
- Technical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Engage in early stages of technology development supporting prototyping, design validation, simulation, and metrology development activities
- Identify mass production intent solutions and proactively drive alignment with cross-functional teams
- Identify risks and mitigate them while presenting frequently to senior leadership
- Champion calibration and test strategy balancing quality and operational requirements
