Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with the ASIC design flow.
  • Knowledge of digital design, SoC architecture, and HDL languages like Verilog.
  • Familiarity with design methodologies and industry standard EDA tools.
  • Knowledge and understanding of microprocessor debug techniques such as CoreSight.
  • Experience writing micro-architecture specifications and converting them to design.
  • Experience with AXI/AHB bus fabric and processor sub-systems.
  • Understanding of UPF and low-power design and implementation techniques.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Design the debug and trace hub for CPU-based subsystems.
  • Collaborate with other designers to implement necessary debug features.
  • Guide validation engineers in using debug features to diagnose issues.
  • Work closely with SoC architects and IP developers to meet design goals.
  • Participate in ASIC debug efforts across various functional areas.
