The Apple Silicon GPU Driver Performance team focuses on optimizing GPU performance across Apple's product line. The role seeks an engineer passionate about enhancing GPU performance and skilled in low-level GPU architecture details.

• Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++
• Experience with GPU programming using Metal, DirectX, Vulkan, CUDA, Direct Compute, OpenGL, or OpenCL
• Interest in diagnosing and fixing GPU performance issues
• Excellent software design and problem-solving skills
• Excellent system debugging skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Technical BS/MS degree
• Experience working on all levels of the software stack is a plus
• Experience developing device drivers for high-performance hardware is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of CPU or GPU architectures is a plus
• Game development experience on PC/console is a plus
