Job description
The role involves working with Apple's GNSS team, which is part of the Cellular team, to define GNSS signal processing hardware architectures. The focus is on developing system specifications and modeling in MATLAB/C++/SystemC for RTL implementations. The team aims to create highly energy-efficient and robust GNSS receivers that enhance product performance. Collaboration with other product development groups is essential to push the boundaries of GNSS technology.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience is required.
- Strong background in wireless communications with a focus on digital hardware system design.
- Familiarity with digital communication, signal processing, spread spectrum systems, or systems theory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in a multi-functional environment.
- MSEE or beyond is preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in GNSS baseband signal processing is preferred.
- Proficiency with wireless communications system modeling and estimation theory.
- Solid programming skills in MATLAB/C++/SystemC.
- Good understanding of VLSI implementation, architecture, and power optimization.
