Job description

The Mail Composition & Content team at Apple is seeking a senior software engineer to enhance the Mail app with innovative features that integrate intelligence across various Apple platforms. This role involves owning the development of critical email flows, including formatting and rendering, while collaborating with teams such as AIML and UI Frameworks. The engineer will play a key role in delivering user-friendly features that are essential for customer interactions. Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in Swift or Objective-C
  • Experience working with Apple SDKs and frameworks

  • Enthusiastic about user experience
  • Experience with JavaScript and/or WebKit

Responsibilities

  • Deliver rich new Mail features for the Apple Mail app
  • Own features from the initial planning stages through to customer delivery
  • Collaborate directly with teams such as AIML, WebKit, UI Frameworks, and Design
  • Enhance the way emails are formatted, created, and rendered
  • Integrate Apple Intelligence features such as Writing Tools into the Mail app
