Job description
We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to lead the design and implementation of CPU and SoC power management software for Apple's new product platforms. This role involves collaboration with hardware and system teams to develop power management features from pre-silicon to commercial release. The engineer will prototype novel power management schemes and influence future chip designs to achieve aggressive battery life targets. The position requires innovative thinking and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Expertise in embedded software development using C or C++
- Expertise in writing and debugging complex OS device and kernel drivers
- Experience in embedded SOC architectures and hardware/software dependencies
- Experience in SOC and/or System Power Management
- Experience in new platform or silicon bringup
