Job description

As a Senior System Software Engineer in the Headphone & Accessories team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing software for Apple operating systems, focusing on audio features and functionality. Your work will involve creating frameworks that showcase AirPods capabilities within the Apple software ecosystem. Collaboration with design teams and cross-functional partners, including the AirPods firmware team, will be essential to deliver innovative software solutions. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building exceptional products that enhance user experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software design/programming with C++, Swift, or Objective-C
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented methodologies, multi-threaded programming, and operating systems concepts
  • Experience with wireless or audio solutions
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working with wireless technology, such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
  • Experience with software audio features like Telephony audio or Bluetooth audio

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software across Apple operating systems for audio features and functionality.
