Job description
As a GPU performance modeling engineer in the Silicon Technologies group, you will play a key role in designing and manufacturing high-performance, power-efficient GPUs. You will work closely with architects and designers to develop cycle-approximate performance models in C/C++. Your contributions will be vital in analyzing performance results and proposing architectural changes. This position requires strong collaboration skills to support the hardware team during performance bring-up.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Background in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architectures.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience in hardware performance modeling, analysis, and debugging.
- Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop cycle-approximate performance models in C/C++.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to understand the units being modeled.
- Analyze performance results and propose architectural and micro-architectural changes.
- Support the hardware team during model and design performance bring-up.
