The Software Engineer III position focuses on developing connectivity drivers for Fuchsia, Google's modern open-source operating system. The role involves working on critical projects that enhance device connectivity through WLAN, Bluetooth, and UWB technologies. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in C++ and Rust.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

• Design and develop driver features, focusing on WLAN, Bluetooth, and UWB.
• Write, review, and maintain Python-based, end-to-end tests that run in Fuchsia's infra connectivity test lab.
• Contribute to the next generation of infra device architecture for Fuchsia connectivity.
• Implement and monitor device metrics for crashes, performance, and feature rollout success.
• Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and performance of our software stack.
