In this position, you will be part of a team that develops System on Chips (SoCs) for Apple's mobile devices, focusing on memory interface signal integrity from package to board. The role requires expertise in DDR or LPDDR interfaces and involves working on the electrical and physical design of memory systems. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize memory system design and validate signal and power integrity. Familiarity with lab equipment and simulation tools is essential for success in this role.

• BS degree with 10 years of industry experience or MSEE with 8 years of industry experience or a Ph.D. is preferred.
• Prior design and modeling experience with DDR or LPDDR interfaces is a must-have.
• Strong fundamentals in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory are required.
• Proficiency in Python with strong foundational coding skills is necessary.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as VNA, TDR, real-time scope, and spectrum analyzer is essential.

• Work on the electrical and physical design of memory systems.
• Conduct electrical extraction and validation of package and MLB.
• Collaborate with circuit and controller teams to optimize memory system design.
• Perform SI and PI modeling, simulation, and characterization of memory interfaces.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity.
• Work with product engineering and system engineering to debug and improve product yield.
