The Security Engineer role within the Access Security Team at Google focuses on proactive risk management and security research. The team aims to uncover access risks and fortify security measures across the organization. As a Security Engineer, you will contribute to the development of security systems and solutions that protect critical infrastructure. This position involves anticipating security risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 1 year of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
• Experience with security engineering within the infrastructure security or security research space.

• Drive the strategy for PRISM’s core pillars by identifying emerging access risks and designing technical solutions to mitigate them at scale.
• Architect and evolve security risk mitigation systems to enable continuous, automated assessment and remediation across Google’s infrastructure.
• Serve as a technical consultant for complex security challenges, guiding teams across Product Areas to implement robust security invariants.
• Contribute to and lead technical execution for the Internal Access Control program suite.
